All of our talented artists wear all black professional-style clothing; no hats or sneakers.

03. How far do your artists travel
Artemix is conveniently located in Queens, NY and our artists can travel throughout the NY tri-state area to suit your party needs.

04. When will your artists arrive at my party?
Our artists arrive 1 hour before that start of our services in order to get our stations set up.

05. Do you have insurance?
We are fully insured, with workers compensation and liability insurance. All paint is non toxic and FDA approved.

06. Do we have to give a tip to the artists?
Tips are customary and are greatly appreciated.

07. Do you have any references?
References are available upon request.

08. What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all forms of payment including major credit cards, checks and cash.


Tattoo Parlor:

01. How much space do you need for the tattoo parlor at my event?
You will need 6ft x 6ft for the tattoo parlor.

02. What does the complete tattoo parlor look like?
Our tattoo parlor is a mini version of a real tattoo parlor. We have a real tattoo chair, a stool, an open and close sign, a background board of the tattoo designs, as well as a flipper board book so your guests can choose the tattoo of their choice. This parlor has the complete works and your guest will feel as if they have stepped into a real deal tattoo parlor.

03. What types of tattoos are offered at the parlor?
When you step into our tattoo parlor your guests will have the option of choosing from a selection of airbrush tattoos, hand painted tattoos as well as custom hand painted tattoos. For a full view of the hand painted designs that we offer, click on the ``Tattoo Designs'' tab on our website.

04. Is the paint you use for the airbrush and hand painted tattoos FDA approved?
The paint that we use is FDA approved and non toxic. We are also fully insured.

05. How fast does the paint dry?
The paint dries with baby powder or glitter within seconds.

06. How many guests can you accommodate per hour?
We can accommodate 15-20 guests per hour.

07. How long do the temporary tattoos last?
The temporary tattoos last 3-5 days.

08. What do I do if I have to take the tattoo off?
The tattoos come off instantly with rubbing alcohol or baby oil.

09. Will the paint stain my children's clothing?
The paint is easily removable with any alcohol-based product, such as rubbing alcohol or laundry stain remover. However, it is unlikely that the paint will get on your child's clothing because of the short drying time.

10. How can I make my tattoo last longer?
Daily applications of baby powder help your tattoo stay vibrant longer. Another tip is to cover your tattoo with plastic wrap when you shower.


Tattoo Tees:

01. What is the difference between Tattoo tees and the Airbrushed Party Favors that are also offered by Artemix?
Both services use the airbrush technique, but Tattoo tees feature the tattoo designs that are shown on our website.

02. How do I care for my airbrush Tattoo tee?
First, you must heat set your tee by turning it inside out and ironing over the design, or by placing it in the dryer for a few minute. Then you should wash it separately in cold water without bleach.

03. What is the required set up for having an airbrush artist at my event?
The set up is a 10x10 area with a 6 foot table by an electrical outlet.

04. Do you shut down during the Montage, the Candle Lighting, and the Hora?
Yes, we shut down during montage, candle lighting, the Hora and any special speeches.

05. Can your airbrush station move from one location to another?
Our stations are not very mobile. If we need to move from cocktail room to a main room, there will be about a 1 hour downtime.

06. How many guests can you accommodate per hour?
We can accommodate 15 guests per hour.

07. Can I select any items besides t-shirts?
Yes, you can select hooded sweatshirts; zip up sweatshirts and crew neck sweatshirts. You can also select tank tops..

08. Can I order a sample of a Tattoo tee?
Visit us at paintontattooparty.com to place an online order. Or, give us a call after you view our airbrush tattoo design gallery to request a sample.

09. What are my packaging options?
Each item is placed in a complimentary draw string bag. You can upgrade to a bag with handle, a gable box with handle or an apparel box.

10. Do you need a list of the kid's names?
We require a list of names to help us ensure each guest will get an item. We also make custom personalized labels for your bags.

03. What kind of paints do you use on Tattoo Glass favors?
The paint we use for our glass favors are non-toxic and water-based. Our paint is recognized as the creamiest acrylic paint available in the market place. We use a three step system to insure quality and allow glass favors to last for years to come. Our three step system includes a surface conditioner, PermEnamel for a frosty or glow-like look and our last step is a finishing touch to keep your glass favor in its best condition. We also use Paint Markers on our glass favors for intricate details. These paint markers are non-toxic and water and fade resistant.

04. Are the glasses dishwasher-safe?
As with other fine crystal and china, they are not dishwasher safe. We recommend careful hand washing your designer glassware.

05. How much do you charge for a custom order?
That depends on what you wish painted. It's all about the time it would take to design and paint the glass. Please be as specific as you can when sending the initial email to us. Once we have all the specifics, we can give you a price.

06. Can you send me a picture of what the glasses will look like?
Absolutely, we can send you a sample of what your desired glass design will look like.

07. Is there some way I may discuss my order?

08. How much room will I need at my event for your station?
We require a six foot table for our hand painted glass station.

09. How are the hand painted glass favors packaged?
The hand painted glass favors are wrapped in tissue and placed in a white

10. How many favors can your artist(s) complete per hour?
Our artists can complete 10-15 favors per hour depending on the glass and the chosen design.

11. How long does it take for the glass favors to dry?
We spray a super surface sealer on the glasses that instantly dry the glass favors.


Giveaways: Tattoo Sleeves

01. What is the minimum order for the tattoo sleeve giveaways?
The minimum order for the tattoo sleeves are one dozen.

02. What are the tattoo sleeve styles for the boys and the girls?
The tattoo sleeve giveaways have a selection for boys and girls. For the girls we have an assortment of fairy sleeves, flowers, tribal designs, dragons and Chinese designs. They come in colors of red, blue, purple, pink, black and neutral colors as well.

The minimum order is one dozen pieces.

We got it covered from hearts and roses, to tribal and armbands.

03. Are the tattoos easy to apply?
Yes. The kit comes complete with all the tools you need to become the artist behind your very own tattoos. Stencils, paints and an easy to use brush.


Giveaways: Piercings

01. What is the minimum order for the piercings?
Our display fits a minimum of 48 pieces. You can order up to as many as you need for your guests to enjoy all the different styles we offer.

02. Do the piercings come with a display?
Just like a real tattoo shop, our fake piercings are displayed on a rotating stand.

03. What kind of fake piercings do you offer?
We have piercings for the lips, nose, ears and belly buttons.
